Jonathan is an independent board member and advisor focussing on the intersection of financial services and technology-driven transformation. With direct experience across all major markets globally, he brings a unique blend of strategic vision, operational depth and understanding of the new technology landscape. Most recently, Jonathan spent over eight years as Chief Innovation Officer of Ping An Group and Chairman and CEO of the Ping An Global Voyager Fund.

 

Before this he spent 18 years at Citigroup as Global Head of the firm’s Retail Banking and Mortgage businesses, Head of Asia Pacific Consumer Banking, and Head of Singapore, along with many other roles. Prior to Citi, Jonathan was a Principal in the Financial Services Practice of global management consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he advised large banks and other financial institutions across Asia and the rest of the world.

 

Jonathan is a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore, and a member of the International Technology Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (since 2017). Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne. He is based in Hong Kong.
