Martin was  the founder and chairman of the BCG Henderson Institute, BCG’s think tank on business strategy, technology and change. He was also a senior managing director with BCG for 36 years, consulting on strategy and innovation to clients across industries and around the world. 

 

He is author or editor of 13 books on strategy and innovation, including Like: The Button That Changed The World (HBRP), The Imagination Machine (HBRP), Your Strategy Needs a Strategy (HBRP) and the Inspiring the Next Game series of books published by De Gruyter. He is currently working on new books on geopolitics and strategy and personal strategy. He is frequently and widely published in practitioner publications including Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review and Fortune. He is a frequent keynote speaker to business audiences. 

 

Martin is currently a senior advisor to BCG, a director of Arabesque AI, a trustee of the London Institute of Mathematical Sciences.
